Lorenzo Reyes-Bozo

“Lorenzo Reyes-Bozo holds a Master's and a Doctorate in Engineering Sciences, specializing in Chemical Engineering. He has contributed to various programs and projects funded by both public and private sources, focusing on environmental management. His research interests encompass the implementation of industrial ecology strategies and cleaner production concepts within industrial processes. He has also conducted studies on the evaluation of biodegradable substances as froth flotation agents for sulfide ore concentration. Additionally, he explores the utilization of renewable hydrogen, derived from renewable energy sources such as solar and wind power, as an energy carrier. Furthermore, he investigates the energy revalorization of waste materials through the "Waste to Energy" concept, alongside activities related to modeling, simulation, and process control. With a remarkable publication record, including over 36 papers indexed in the Web of Science (WoS), 1 patent granted, 4 book chapters, and 2 books, as well as presenting at more than 85 congresses and conferences, his work has received 580 citations. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Energy and Sustainable Processes Research Group and as the Dean of the Engineering Faculty at Universidad Autónoma de Chile”.
